In this article, we will go over invoicing, and billing issues and/or questions.
When adding a new card go to locations, billing details and +add payment method.
Credits for Credit Card Customers:
When Credits are added to your account the credit will be auto-applied to the invoices prior to the credit card being charged. If the invoice is paid and credit is added the credit will be applied to the next open invoice before the credit card is charged.
Credit Card Questions/Issues:
When you add a new credit card, you will see a $1.00 hold that is to verify it is a valid credit card once the card is validated the $1.00 is released. If there is an issue validating the credit card the account will say there is a billing issues, and you may need to call your bank to have a fraud hold released and make them aware they will be using 3Shape Design Services. Once you have done that, you will need to re-add the credit card as a new card for validation. If a Credit card account goes past due, the platform auto-suspends the account until the account is paid. If the credit card is being declined the platform will autorun the credit card Monday & Tuesday if it is still being declined the account will auto-suspend until we are asked to manually run the card, or a new credit card is added.
Invoices and when they will be emailed:
All invoices go out weekly at end of business on Friday and again on the last day of the month. To receive the invoices, you must have a billing contact on file. To add a billing contact, go to billing details on the far right you will see billing contacts - Add new billing contact and add a name and email address.
How to view invoices/credits/charges on your account:
Log into the account and go to the locations tab then on the left you will see billing details, click on that scroll down and you will see a tab that has invoices/credits/charges (invoices is what the tab is always on) to view the invoice click on the blue invoice id number, that will open the invoice then you can click the actions button on the right side of the screen there you can download CSV or download pdf or you can print the invoice all from the actions.
If you cannot view your invoices that are emailed:
If the billing contact is not a user on the account, you will not be able to open the invoice and view the details. Users (such as Location Managers and/or Location Admins) can also go to billing details and view and download their invoices. You can also view your applied and unapplied credits and charges as well.
When will the Credit card be charged:
Credit cards are charged early Saturday morning after you receive your invoice. After the credit card is charged the platform will email a transaction report to the billing contact’s email on file. If the credit card has been declined the billing contact will be made aware of that as well from the transaction report.
