In this article, we will go over how to view previous versions of a Clear Aligner treatment, so you can make a final decision.
We can always redesign the case before the doctor's approval, and these redesigns are free of charge.
A new version of the case is generated every time changes are made, and that new version of the treatment plan will be uploaded to the case.
If you wish to compare different versions of the treatment, we will guide you through the process so you can make a final decision along with the patient.
To view the current and previous versions, follow these steps:
- Log in to the 3Shape Design Service portal. design.3shape.com
- Click on the "Needs Approval" folder and select the order ID of the case you want to review.
- Once the case opens, click the "Actions" button, and from the drop-down menu, choose "Review Case."
- The case files and details will be displayed, including the 3D preview, PDF summary, and any additional comments.
- if you want to look up at the previous versions, scroll down and click on the small arrow.
- Highlight the version you would like to review to see the PDF Summary, the comments, and the 3D preview.
7. If the doctor decides to use an old version, they need to send the case for redesign and ask the Specialized Team to upload the version they wish as final.
8. Once reviewed, click the check box that appears in the lower left corner at the bottom of the window. This message indicates that you approve the case.
