In this article, we will outline the steps for enabling or disabling the FC Button as well as how to use the FC Button to send cases to FullContour for Design
How to enable the FullContour button in Dental System
If you have 19.3 or higher, follow the steps below:
- Open Dental System
- Navigate to Control Panel
- Download center > select "Download libraries" from the drop-down, then make sure "Send to FullContour" is checked
- Select “Import Materials”
- Save & Close > Restart Dental System (should happen automatically)
How to use the FullContour button
- Open Dental System
- Select the order(s) you would like to send to FullContour
- Click the FC button
- In the dialogue box that pops up, add your FullContour username and Password (this is only done the first time you send an order)
- Confirm that you want to send the order(s)
- The FullContour Platform will launch in the browser where you can see your order(s) and modify as necessary (require design approval, etc)
- Click submit on the FullContour Platform and you’re finished!
Note: The order(s) should join any other pending orders you have on the platform in the “sent for design” category.
How to change your username or password
If you accidentally input the wrong username or password when you first used the button or you change your username or password later on, you will need to follow these steps:
- Open Dental System control panel
- Navigate to 3rd Party Applications (under Dental Manager heading)
- Select the FullContour application
- Update your Username and Password
- Save changes when you leave the control panel
How to remove the button
If for any reason you would like to remove the button
- Open Dental System control panel
- Navigate to 3rd Party Applications (under Dental Manager)
- Select the FullContour application
- Hit delete (left hand side menu)
- Save changes when you leave the control panel
