In this article, we will go over sending a Denture case to us for design.
If you plan to send your Dentures to a manufacturer, and one had not been chosen yet, prior to sending your first order, please ask customer service to provide you a list of our partners to manufacture your cases. Once established, please contact customer service and they will update your account to connect your partner to your account (some partners have a separate site to submit our designs, so not all are applicable). This is an important step to ensure your cases make it to the correct destination.
We currently only accept 3Shape Orders for dentures.
You will set up the order in the order form in 3Shape and export the order. You will manually drag and drop their exported zip folder to the FC Portal
- Indication - Denture
- Destination - In House or Integrated Manufacturer
- Arches - Select one or two arches depending if we are designing a single or fully edentulous patient.
- Design Guide - To ensure the case is designed exactly how it is desired, it is HIGHLY Recommended to fill at least the first 6 design guide codes in the design Guide Selection (unless it's pre-fabricated, please also fill #18).
- Instructions - Anything additional about the patient we should know before designing, and shades if using an integrated manufacturer partner.
Note: You must include the correct material in your order setup, and select the correct amount of arches for design when you drag and drop the case of the portal, or we will place the case on HOLD
If you are mixing materials please let us know in the instructions (i.e. printed base, milled teeth) so we can design it with the proper material perimeters, most DME’s do not allow mixing DME’s and will not generate the case. We do have a FCDC DME that we can give you that goes together but allows us to mix materials for you. Please reach out to us if that is what you are needing.
Once all steps have been completed you are ready to send. Just click on the blue paper airplane to send. The turnaround time is 24 Hours!
