In this article, we will go over sending a Crown & Bridge case to us for design.
You will need to set up your order in a design software; either 3shape, exocad, or Sirona.
Once your order is set up, follow the instructions below:
For 3shape
There are 2 ways to submit orders -
If you have Dental Manager 19.3 or newer you can send via the FC button in 3shape:
- Set up your order
- Highlight the scanned file(s) you wish to send and click on the FC Button
(The first time you send via the button you will have to log in to the FC account inside Dental Manager)
- A box will pop up and let you know whether the site has accepted or rejected your 3shape order, Click OK
- Your internet window will pop open and if you aren’t already signed in to FullContour you will need to sign in.
- Once signed in, it will take you to a Pending orders page where you will need to make sure your order is correct and select the design guide codes that pertain to your order.
- You will need to fill in instructions that aren’t covered in the design guide selections, select your turnaround time, whether you need design approval, and select your manufacturer (either in house manufacturing or the destination you want the design sent)
- Click send all orders or the blue paper airplane
If you don’t have the button:
- Set up your order
- Right-click on the order you want to send to FullContour, click Advanced, click Export, select the entire 3shape file
- Once this file is exported out, you will need to open Google Chrome and log into your FullContour Account.
- You will need to be on the orders tab, Drag and drop the zipped file you exported out of 3shape.
- Make sure your order is correct and select the design guide codes that pertain to your order.
- You will need to fill in instructions that aren’t covered in the design guide selections, select your turnaround time, whether you need design approval, and select your manufacturer (either in house manufacturing or the destination you want the design sent)
- Click send all orders or the blue paper airplane
For exocad
- Set up your order
- Open your CAD-DATA folder, right-click on the case you want to send to FullContour, click Send To, click compressed zip folder
- You will need to open Google Chrome and log into your FullContour Account
- You will need to be on the orders tab, Drag and drop the zipped file you exported out of exocad.
- Select the correct design type, teeth, and any design guide codes that pertain to your case.
- If you have multiple design types in your exocad order, click the + button over on the right and create a new line and select the design type, teeth, and any codes that pertain to that.
- You will need to fill in instructions that aren’t covered in the design guide selections, select your turnaround time, whether you need design approval, and select your manufacturer (either in house manufacturing or the destination you want the design sent)
- Click send all orders or the blue paper airplane
For Sirona
- Set up your order
- Click on the 3bars (Menu) over on the top left side in Sirona
- Click Export and export the .lab file type
- You will need to open Google chrome and log into your FullContour Account
- You will need to be on the orders tab, Drag and drop the .lab file you exported out of Sirona.
- Select the correct design type, teeth, and any design guide codes that pertain to your case.
- If you have multiple design types in your Sirona order, click the + button over on the right and create a new line and select the design type, teeth, and any codes that pertain to that.
- You will need to fill in instructions that aren’t covered in the design guide selections, select your turnaround time, whether you need design approval, and select your manufacturer (either in house manufacturing or the destination you want the design sent)
- Click send all orders or the blue paper airplane
Once all steps have been completed you are ready to send. Just click on the blue paper airplane to send. The turnaround time is Next morning by 7am for Crown & Bridge cases!
