In this article, we will go over how to add new users to your 3Shape Design Services Location Account and explain the difference between users’ types.
On the 3Shape Design Services platform, you can add users to the Location account who, to a different extent, will have access to the platform.
There are four types of users available on the Location level:
Admin, Manager, QC, and User.
Location Admin and Location Manager
- Can access the Price List and Billing Details.
- Can add other users to the account and edit them.
- Will have access to the “Orders”, “Location” and “Users” tab, and can access the cases for all the indications.
Location QC
Is the person responsible for monitoring and quality control of orders within certain dental indications. Select Location QC and the required design indications from the list.
- Will have access only to the “Orders” tab, and can access the cases just for the chosen indications.
- Won’t see any Billing information.
- Won’t be able to add new users or edit them.
Location User
- Will have access to the “Orders” tab, and can access the cases for all the indications.
- Won’t see any Billing information.
- Won’t be able to add new users or edit them.
How to add a new user?
If you are a 'Location Manager' or 'Location Admin' the "Users" tab is available for you. You can navigate there, see the list of all users, and add new ones by clicking the "New User" button:
After that, fill in all the required fields marked with “*”, add a direct phone number for the new user, if there is one, and select this user’s role, then click on Create:
For Admins and Managers of an Organization consisting of several Locations, there is an opportunity to add users at the Location level. So, if you are signed in as the Organization Admin or Manager, the following user roles are available to you to add:
If you choose to add one of the Location roles, the dropdown list with all the Organization Locations will appear. Make sure to choose the right one to add a new user in.
How to edit an existing user?
If you would like to change any information on a user from your 3Shape Design Services Location please feel free do to so at any point by following the steps in the graphics:
Once you click on the name of the user you will be able to change the name, email, and role of that user. Once you finish just click update!
