In this article, we will go over how to activate and use TRIOS Communicate for FC Clear Aligners. Please note that only Anterior cases may be submitted this way so far.
To activate Trios Communicate for Clear Aligners, please log into: https://portal.3shapecommunicate.com/
After signing in, navigate to the “Integrations” tab, find “Clear Aligner Design by FullContour” and click on “Enable integration”:
Then, we will send you an email asking you to confirm your request. After you do that, FC Clear Aligners integration will be enabled for you per a slight delay, and you will be able to submit orders from Dental Desktop.
Please, find the workflow below:
Step 1. Go to Patients tab and create a New Case.
Step 2. Choose FC Clear Aligners Design icon.
Step 3. Fill in Communicate order form:
Choose Orthodontics – Clear aligners as a Design Type, set up Delivery Date and Scan Settings, Add case Instructions and Clinical photos.
Step 4. Scan the case or import scans to it.
Step 5. Send your order to FullContour.
Step 6. Go to FullContour platform and drag and drop Rx form with aligners treatment prescription to the attachments folder of the submitted case.
As soon as Clear Aligners treatment plan is completed, you will receive email notification informing that case status is changed to Needs Approval. This email will contain the link to FullContour platform, where you can review the design.
