This article explains how customers can submit 3Shape orders using materials other than the standard FCDC material. This option is only available for 3Shape orders.
Testing process:
The customer creates a 3Shape order in the Design Service Platform, selecting their preferred material and manufacturing process.
Note: Ivoclar, Dentsply, and TrueDent by Stratasys cannot be used under the Standard Denture design type. Each of these materials requires its own specific design type and must be selected during order creation.
2. Our design team receives the design case and starts with testing.
3. The material may either be approved or rejected.
Criteria for Approval
Proper setup of the 3Shape order, including appropriate selections, object types, scans, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Error-free design without any software-related issues during all design stages.
Successful export of the try-in and final without any issues.
If Rejected:
The design team will place the case on hold and notify the support team, who will then communicate with the customer.
The customer may need to cancel the case and resubmit an entirely new case with a different material for testing or with FCDC 3Shape Material.
If Approved:
The customer is added to our official list of approved customers for the specific material.
The design proceeds as usual and is sent to the customer for review and approval.
