In this article, we will go over the versions of 3Shape that we will support and/or discontinue
We have shut down several of our legacy 3Shape servers. This includes Dental System 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. From now on, we will no longer design cases in any of these versions. We will continue to support Dental System 2020 and newer versions (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).
What does this mean for you and your lab?
We will no longer design cases in 3Shape 2016, 2017, 2018, or 2019.
If you send us an order from one of these versions, the case will be designed in 3Shape Dental System 2021.
You will still receive your STL files as usual, but you will not be able to import the 2021 order back into your older Dental System.
Recommendation: The easiest way to avoid issues is to upgrade your system. Please contact your reseller, who can assist you with the upgrade process.
