In this article, we will go over how to adjust the settings in your Dental Manager to output 3OX files with your orders.
This is determined by the manufacturing process outputs. So whatever manufacturing process is selected in your 3Shape order will dictate the output file extension. This can be managed in the Control Panel.
Please follow these steps.
1. Open your Control Panel.
2. Navigate to "Site Settings" and click on "Manufacturing Process".
3. Select the same material or materials you are using on your orders and check the "Output 3OX file" box.
5. Click "Save" and close the Control Panel by clicking on the "X".
You need to make sure this option is turned on under the manufacturing process in order to get a 3OX output file. All you need to do is either select a manufacturing process that has this option on or go into your Control Panel and select this option for the manufacturing process you are using.
You need to make sure the "remove patient information" isn't check-marked under the Automate extension in Third-party applications, too, in your control panel.
