1. Navigate to the correct folders where the DME is stored.
Implant library location → [Exocad folder] / DentalCADApp / DentalCADApp/library/implant
Model creator location → [Exocad folder] / DentalCADApp / library / model creator / implants
2. Select the folders of the Implant Kit that you would like to export. Create a copy and put them into a .zip folder.
Note: For 3Shape, they will show as .dme files, and for Exocad, they will show as .sdfa files, but this will not make a difference; they will work the same.
3. Once you have the files in a compressed .zip folder saved on your computer, please go to the Design Service Platform and click on "Location", then "Details".
4. Scroll down to the CAD Files Section.
5. Click on "New CAD File".
6. Drop the file here, or click/tap to select a file to upload.
7. Once uploaded, click on the "Create" button.
8. The file will be uploaded to your profile.
IMPORTANT: If the DME was uploaded for a specific case, please reach out to our Customer Support team by email, phone, or live chat and share the Order ID. This allows us to work on your design and to proceed with your case using the appropriate DME.
Please note that if you upload the DME without notifying us, we do not receive any automatic alerts, and your case cannot move forward.
After that, you are more than welcome to release the hold for your case or cases that have been put on hold because of missing DME. Here is the article reviewing the Hold Release process: https://support.fullcontour.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042693791-How-to-release-a-case-On-Hold-
