In this article, we will go over the design guide codes and their importance when submitting a Clear Retainer case to the Design Service Platform.
Important:
Retainers are available for submission but are recommended only after the patient has completed their full treatment plan and the doctor is satisfied with the results. Until the retainer has been shipped and provided to the doctor, the patient should continue wearing their final aligner tray.
Steps for Submitting a Case:
Importance of Design Guide Codes
Design guide codes ensure your preferences are communicated clearly and accurately, enabling us to maintain consistency and high quality in your cases while delivering exactly what you need. These codes are organized into six categories:
Teeth Extraction
Cut Line
Retainer Block Out
Lingual Bar Block Out
Recession Block Out
Attachment Preferences
(If no instructions are provided, our default setting is to keep plaster attachments.)
To add the design guide codes, click on the icon after uploading the case, then select the appropriate codes based on your specifications.
By following these steps and using the design guide codes, you can ensure your retainer cases are customized to meet your exact requirements, helping us deliver the best possible outcome for your patients.
