Sending an All On X Case to the 3Shape Design Service Platform for Design

In this article, we will go over the requirements for sending an All on X case to us for design. 

 

Important information: 

  • Turnaround time: 24 hours
  • We need a complete order on Dental System or Exocad.

ALL ON X HYBRID (Patient doesn't have the abutment in the mouth)

Requirements:

  • A Complete 3Shape/Exocard Order.
  • Gingiva type Selection.
  • Length of centrals or Pre-Op scan.
  • The material for the final restoration.

Order Set up Example:

ALL ON X HYBRID OVER SCANNED TI BASES (Patient has the abutment on the mouth.

ALL ON X PREPPED

Requirements: 

  • A Complete 3Shape/Exocard Order.
  • Pre-Op scan. 
  • The material for the final restoration.

This is a two-step process.

Step 1 - All on X Prepped Hybrid

The bar/bridge is designed.

Step 2 – Crowns 

The initial design is verified, copied, appended, and resubmitted to the 3Shape Design Services Platform under LUCID for Final Crowns.

Frequently asked questions: 

What is a Fixed Hybrid Denture?

  • A full-arch prosthesis supported by dental implants.
  • Combines the aesthetics of dentures with the stability of implants.
  • Typically uses 4, 6, or more implants (All-on-4, All-on-6, All-on-X).
  • Implants fuse to the jawbone for a secure fit and natural function.


Design Capabilities for Hybrid Cases

  • Bar Designs:
    Not currently offered outside of the Thimble prep bridge cases.
  • Split Files (Base + Teeth):
    Not available.
    Only one STL file is provided (teeth and gingiva together)

Note: Orders will be placed on hold if the information is missing. Designers are unable to make changes to the order.
