For non-eligible cases, customers may switch between Auto-Upload (set by default) and manual upload, where you will need to hit the Upload to Automate AI button for the cases you wish to be designed by 3Shape Automate.
For the case containing a supported indication and a model, an AI proposal for the supported indication will be generated first. Once the AI proposal has been accepted, Model Builder (or Model Builder Express) can be opened to proceed with model creation.

How to Get It

You are using Dental System version 24.1.1 or newer
Have an active 3Shape LabCare subscription
If you're not already using Dental System 2024, you can upgrade for free when you sign up for LabCare and start using Automate AI designs right away!

How to change design settings?
When dentist-dependent CAD settings are available in the Dental System Control Panel, they will be used for Automate AI design for a case coming from this specific dentist.
Otherwise, design settings from the material will be used.
How to get the best overview of the current case status?
It is possible to enable a status field for AI supported cases that will make it easier to see if a case is eligible and if the processing has completed. To enable the status, please right-click the status bar in dental manager and enable "Application Status".
