2: After signing in, navigate to the “Integrations” tab, find Clear Aligner Design by 3Shape Design Service, and click on “Enable integration”:
3: We will send you an email asking you to confirm your request. Once we receive your confirmation, 3Shape Design Service will be enabled for you shortly thereafter, and you will be able to submit orders directly from Dental Desktop.
Steps to send a case:
1. Go to the Patients tab and create a New Case.
2. Choose 3Shape Design Service Clear Aligners Icon
3. Fill in the Communicate order form:
- Choose Orthodontics.
- Clear Aligners as a design type.
- Set up delivery date and scan settings.
- Add case instructions.
- Include clinical photos.
4. Scan the case or import scans to it.
5. Send your order to 3Shape Design Service.
6. Go to the 3Shape Design Service Platform and drag and drop the RX form with the aligners treatment prescription in the initial scan folder of the submitted case.
Please note that, at this time, only anterior cases can be submitted through this method. If you need to send a full-arch case, it must be submitted through your preferred web browser using the portal. Drag and drop the ZIP file containing the case files and select Clear Aligners (Full Arch).
As soon as the Clear Aligners treatment plan is completed, you will receive an email notification indicating that the case status has changed to Needs Approval. This email will include a link to the 3Shape Design Service platform, where you can review the design.
